Officers from Dorset Police investigating a burglary at an East Dorset golf club are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Outbuildings at the Crane Valley Golf Club near Verwood were broken into on the night of Wednesday 13 November 2019. Padlocks were cut and chains removed to gain access.

The offenders made off with around £35,000-worth of Stihl petrol landscaping tools and a Kubota RTV X1110 4X4 utility vehicle.

Police Constable Geoff Avey-Hebditch, of East Dorset police, said: ‘We are continuing to make enquiries into this burglary and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of the offence to please contact us.

‘I would also like to hear from anyone who comes across petrol tools or a vehicle matching the description given for sale in unusual circumstances.’
