The Fitness by Design gym and The Toning Suite in Gillingham are both moving to a new location at the Udder Farm Shop in East Stour.

The popular fitness club and toning tables club reopened last month in their usual location in the centre of Gillingham after a four-month enforced break because of the Coronavirus epidemic, but will move to their new first-floor premises at the Udder Farm Shop on the A30 at the end of August.

‘We hope to have an open day on Monday August 31 from 10am to 3pm, for people to have a private tour with us,’ says Fitness by Design owner Colin Fricker.

‘This will be a purpose-built facility to a very high standard,’ he says. ‘We are putting in a full air conditioning and extraction system, and having an acoustic sound proof roof – like the restaurant below – which comes from Denmark. We have easy access and parking for 120 cars as well as all brand new showers and changing facilities.’

He adds: ‘Members can also use the fantastic coffee shop or restaurant and even have their car valeted.

‘We want our new place to feel like a more upmarket country club and this is why we’ve finished it to the same high standards as the new restaurant.’

The first day of opening will be September 1, which is also the fifteenth anniversary for the Udder Farm Shop.
