Police officers investigating a burglary in Gillingham are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Between 2.30pm on Friday 8 April and 7.30pm on Saturday 9 April 2022 entry was gained to a property in the Le Neubourg Way area.
A large jewellery box was stolen, which contained a number of unique items of jewellery including watches, rings and necklaces.
Police Constable Dominic Upshall, of North Dorset police, said: ‘This incident has understandably left the victim very shaken and the items stolen were of great sentimental value to them.
‘I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity around the relevant timeframe to please get in touch.
‘I would also like to hear from any residents or motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV systems or dashcam.
‘Finally, I am keen to speak to anyone who has been offered any jewellery for sale locally in unusual circumstances.’
