Wyke primary school in Gillingham is organising a scarecrow competition for the town.

People are being  invited to make a scarecrow from any materials they want and display it in front of their home for everyone to enjoy.

The school has also teamed up with Waitrose, Yapp Brothers, Gillingham Tandoori and Lavender Blue Bakery to offer some great prizes for the best entries.

To enter, send a photo of the scarecrow to [email protected] by Monday 8 June. There is a £5 entry fee.
