Dorset PolicePolice officers investigating a burglary in North Dorset are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 28 January 2024, offenders forced entry to a property in Marnhull where they broke into a cabinet and stole large amounts of jewellery and cash.

A car was reportedly sighted suspiciously close to the property at around 5am.

Police Constable Ioanna Spence-Samoili, of Blandford police, said: ‘Our enquiries are continuing and I would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time.

‘I would also appeal to residents and drivers within the areas of Marnhull as far south as Pleck to please review their dashcams and home security doorbells and cameras to see if they have captured anything during the early hours of the morning which may be of relevance to our investigation.’
