The man police want to identify.

Police officers investigating a theft from a supermarket in Gillingham are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.

At around 12.45pm on Wednesday 17 August 2022 a man entered Asda in Station Road and stole a number of bottles of alcohol with a total value of around £600.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: ‘We are continuing to investigate this theft and I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we would like to identify.

‘I appreciate the images are not the best quality, but I am hoping someone may be able to recognise him, possibly through the distinctive tattoo on his right bicep that can be seen.
