A CCTV image of the man police want to question.

Police officers investigating the theft of alcohol from a supermarket in Shaftesbury are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 2.50pm on Wednesday 8 February 2023 a man entered Tesco in Christy’s Lane and stole bottles of alcohol, with a total value of £264.

The stolen items activated the security alarm as the man exited the store and he ran away from the scene.

Police Constable Jonathan Park, of Dorset Police, said: ‘We are continuing to investigate this theft and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect.

‘I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please get in touch.’
