policePolice officers investigating reports of damage being caused to a property in Shaftesbury are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV footage or information to come forward.

Dorset Police were called at 1.37am on Monday 22 December 2025 to reports that offenders had fired an air weapon at an address in Deansleigh Park, causing damage to a number of windows. No injuries were reported.

Police Constable Allannah Clark, of North Dorset police, said: ‘Officers responded to this incident in the early hours of the morning and spoke to the victims and a number of nearby residents.

‘I would ask anyone who either witnessed or heard anything of note and have not yet spoken to officers to please get in touch. I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV cameras or dashcam to please come forward.’
