Don’t miss: World War One evening at Bourton Village hall

For a fascinating evening about World War 1, head to Bourton Village Hall where Bourton WW1 Project present an evening with Major Nick Speak, co-author of Devotion to Duty, a book celebrating military heroes from the Dorset and Devonshire Regiments, who examines the Dorset Regiment’s WW1 successes and failures.

As well, Bonny Sartin, one of Dorset’s most popular singer/songwriters will perform early 20th Century poems and songs including some about his own family’s WW1 experiences.
