UPDATE:

Dorset Police have said they  are pleased to confirm that missing teenager Lewis Hill, from Gillingham, has been found safe and well.

Lewis, aged 14, had been reported missing having left an address in the town during the night of Wednesday 20 November 2024.

Following searches by officers, he has now been located.

‘We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal,’ said a police spokesperson.

Police officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a teenage boy who went missing from Gillingham.

Dorset Police received a report at 8.18am on Thursday 21 November 2024 raising concern for the welfare of Lewis Hill, aged 14, who had left an address in the town during the night.

Lewis is described as being of slim build with mousey brown hair that is curly on the top and short on the sides. He was wearing a black Trapstar coat and black trousers.

It is believed he may be travelling in a black Vauxhall Corsa with the registration KE72 ZPK.

Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: ‘We are concerned for Lewis’ welfare and we are keen to locate him as soon as possible so we can make sure that he is all right.

‘I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please report it to us immediately. We are also keen to hear from anyone who comes across the vehicle detailed above.

‘Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Lewis if you see this to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are. We all just want to check that you are OK.’
