A man is due to appear in court in connection with a burglary near Gillingham.

Officers were called at 3.15pm on Saturday 6 October 2018 to reports that an unknown man was inside an address off the B3081 on the outskirts of the town.

A search of the area was carried out and a man was arrested nearby.

A 39-year-old man from Tisbury in Wiltshire has been charged with burglary and is due to appear before Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8 October 2018.
