The League of Friends raised just short of £600 for Westminster Memorial Hospital at their recent Summer Fair.

‘Shaftesbury’s mayor, Tim Cook, kindly opened the Fair,’ says Denise Potter, a volunteer Hospital Trustee and the Fair’s organizer. ‘He met Toni, our Teddy Bear who held a special Teddy Bear’s Picnic for all the children. With their help and all the lovely volunteers on the day we had our best Fair yet, which will help support this amazing hospital.’

Denise added: ‘We are so grateful to the Matron, Helen Lawes, for letting us hold our fundraising fair in the grounds of Westminster Memorial Hospital. It was a busy day, helped by the lovely sunshine.’
