Public appeal to help find man who has gone missing from North Dorset
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find a man who has gone missing from North Dorset.
Mark Powell, 53 and of Dorchester, went missing from an address in West End in Spetisbury sometime between 10pm yesterday, Sunday 18 June and 9am today, Monday 19 June 2017.
He did not take his wallet or mobile phone with him. It is believed he may have left on a ladies red Raleigh bicycle.
Mark is described as white, six feet tall, of stocky build, with a tanned complexion and clean shaven. He has short dark-coloured hair and wears glasses. He was wearing dark-coloured jeans and a cowboy-style hat.
Chief Inspector John Foster, of Dorset Police, said: ‘I understand that Mark has been upset lately and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him. We have carried out searches of the Spetisbury and Dorchester areas but Mark has not been found.
‘I would urge anyone who has seen Mark or a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police urgently.
‘Finally, if Mark sees this appeal I would ask him to please make contact with Dorset Police or your family. We are worried about you and just want to know you are safe.’
