Police officers searching for a woman who went missing with her young son in Gillingham say they have both now been located.

Augustina Elliot-Smith, 35, was reported missing after leaving her home some time between 2.30am and 3.30am today, Thursday 16 May 2019.

Following searches by officers, they have both been found safe in the Gillingham area.

A police spokesperson said they were very grateful to everyone who shared their appeal.
