Dorset detectives investigating the alleged theft of jewellery from a home in North Dorset are issuing an image of a stolen item they are hoping to trace.

The necklace with a ragdoll pendant (see above) was reportedly stolen from an address in the Shaftesbury area on Wednesday 22 September 2021.

A local man aged in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released under investigation as enquiries are ongoing.

Detective Constable Neil Hooker, of Weymouth CID, said: ‘As part of our ongoing investigation I am issuing an image of the item of jewellery that was reportedly stolen and would appeal to anyone who has come across a similar piece being offered for sale in unusual circumstances locally to please come forward.’
