The same car was seen in the area on both occasions.

Police in Gillingham are investigating two linked crimes where car park ticket machines have been attacked and damaged in the town on consecutive nights.

The first incident was in the Chantry Fields car park on the evening of Friday 6 November. The second was at the  old CO-OP car park off Gillingham High Street on the evening of Saturday 7 November.

A silver saloon car (shown in photo) has been seen in the area on both occasions.

Witnesses to either offence have been asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, or online at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online.
