Wiltshire police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision between a motorcyclist and a tractor on the A30 on Thursday.

At around 11.40am on the A30 near Ludwell Hill, at the junction with Coronation Close, a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a tractor turning onto the A30.

The rider, a man in his teens from Shaftesbury, was taken to hospital with significant injuries.

The road was closed for several hours to allow for forensic work to take place and has since reopened.

Wiltshire Police us asking any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam  to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 156 of yesterday’s date.
