The mercifully dry fair weather conditions brought a large crowd out on Saturday 5 October afternoon to watch the annual Children’s Carnival Procession in Gillingham.

Onlookers were treated to a variety of inventive costumes and themes from local school children, nurseries and members of local Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers and Cubs groups.

The Illuminated Carnival Procession will be at 7.15pm.
