Gillingham Town Council wants help from the public in finding some of the worst spots for litter in the town.

On Saturday 17 March the council is organising a litter pick up in Gillingham from 10am.

But to help the volunteers make the best impact mayor Belinda Ridout says they would like to identify any areas where litter is routinely left.

Any suggestions for litter ‘hot spots’ should be made to the council on 01747 823588 or email gtc@gillinghamdorset-tc.gov.uk.

The council is also looking for more volunteers to take part.
