Dorset Police say they have arrested one person after carrying out ‘targeted action’ against drugs in Gillingham.

The force announced on social media that the action – based on information received – had resulted in ‘3 positive searches and drugs seized’.

The police added: ‘One male arrested in connection with the supply of controlled substances.’

No details have been given about where the searches or the arrest occurred in the town.
